Replication Data for: Economic Strain and Depressive Symptoms Among University Students in Bangladesh: A Quality-of-Life Study

This repository contains the analytic replication files and supplementary materials for the study \"Economic Strain and Depressive Symptoms Among University Students in Bangladesh: A Quality-of-Life Study,\" published in the McGill Journal of Global Health. The deposit includes the full Jupyter Notebook (.ipynb) replication script and a detailed supplementary document containing additional figures and diagnostics. The anonymized analytic dataset of 500 undergraduate students is hosted separately on Mendeley Data and is accessible at: https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/f4z2bfv7vk/1. The provided Python script reproduces all data preprocessing steps, descriptive statistics, Ordinal Logistic Regression (OLR) models, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) fit indices, and exploratory multiclass XGBoost classifier visualizations with permutation-based SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations) values.
