7. Mills Longitudinal Study - Age 73 Assessment

The seventh and final assessment of the Mills Longitudinal Study was conducted exclusively by mail in the Fall of 2011, when the participants were approximately 73 years old. Participants completed a chronology chart describing the major events in their lives from 2007 to 2011; a “Quick Update Form” containing basic demographic and family information as well as ratings of health, energy, and life satisfaction; and several items assessing well-being, life satisfaction, social support, financial security, and emotion regulation. The CPI was also administered at this assessment. Participants who said they did not have time to complete the full set of materials were given an abbreviated version (called the \"Short Sheet\").
