City of Cape Town Ground Level Map 2m Contours (CCT GLM 2019)

The purpose of the CCT GLM 2019 is to provide a set reference surface for Existing Ground Level across the City of Cape Town Municipality. This dataset consists of a 5m DEM (raster) and these 2m Contours (vector). The Ground Level Map was approved by the City Council on the 27th July 2023. The 5m DEM is a raster elevation model (bare earth) derived from the 2019B LiDAR dataset. The 2m contour line data set displays contours at every 2m height interval covering the entire municipal area of the City of Cape Town. The contour lines are derived from the 5m DEM raster. The 0m contour is excluded from the dataset.
