One-hundred strains of streptomycetes have been isolated from Grey mountain-forest soil/Luvic Retic Greyzemic Phaeozems (Loamic) (Beloretsky district, Republic of Bashkortostan). Soil samples were taken from A1 horizons at a depth of 10 cm. The isolated strains were analyzed in vitro for antimicrobial activity on nutrient media and in gray forest soil against 23 collection pathogenic test cultures of fungi and bacteria.The highest activity of Streptomyces baarnensis sp. TB was recorded against representatives of the phytopathogenic fungal genera causing potato and tomato late blight (Phytophthora infestans P08ATF40), potato scab (S. scabiei VKM As-305), and black bacteriosis of cereal crops (Xanthomonas translucens 1244); the strain also partially inhibited the growth of Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. tessellarius 4015 (bacterial mosaic pathogen in wheat).
