资源简介:
The data for the manuscript "Love at first glance: Imbalanced processing to gaming and natural rewards in internet gaming disorder". In this study, we assessed self-reported reward responsiveness using the Behavioral Activation System (BAS) scales and examined their correlation with neural responses to both gaming and monetary rewards via an adapted Incentive Delay Task. Our results indicated that, compared to recreational gamers, the IGD group reported higher BAS responsiveness, which correlated specifically with automatic attention to gaming rewards (N1) rather than later processing stages (feedback monitoring, FRN; emotional arousal, LPP). No such correlation was found in monetary rewards. Notably, after this initial automatic attention, IGD individuals showed a diminished monitoring to monetary rewards. These results suggest that the hyper-responsiveness observed in IGD is uniquely tied to gaming rewards, resulting in an automatic capture of attention that may impair the ability to learning from non-gaming rewards.
