Number of chikungunya cases India 2015-2019

In 2019, India recorded more than 50 thousand cases of chikungunya. Even though the figures showed a reduction in the last three years, it was still considered high, nearly twice the number observed during 2015. Chikungunya is a viral disease that transmits through the bite of an infected mosquito.
