This dataset relates to the testing of a wastewater treatment pilot plant implemented by AquaSPICE to assess the performance of bioreactors, biomembranes, and UV reactor in treating wastewater from the poultry industry. The plant was installed at the slaughterhouse of Agricola SA, one of Romania’s leading poultry meat producers, with a daily output exceeding 150 tonnes. The pilot plant received influent directly from the slaughterhouse. The setup, illustrated in pilot_plant_diagram.png, consists of two main components: the water treatment pilot plant and a BactoSense unit. The BactoSense unit enables continuous measurement of various microbial parameters. A detailed schematic of the treatment system, including sensor locations, is provided in PID.png. The dataset contains the following data files: pilot_plant_data.xlsx: Contains the readings from the pilot plant. The columns of the file are: Date / Time: Timestamp of the recorded data. Flow at Start of Filtration [L/h]: Flow rate at the beginning of the filtration cycle. Flow at End of Filtration [L/h]: Flow rate at the end of the filtration cycle. Pressure at Start of Filtration [bar]: System pressure at the beginning of the filtration cycle. Pressure at End of Filtration [bar]: System pressure at the end of the filtration cycle. LT-7226 [m]: Liquid level measurement from sensor LT-7226, in meters. LT-3426 [m]: Liquid level measurement from sensor LT-3426, in meters. FT-3520 [L/h]: Flow rate from sensor FT-3520. PT-3526 [bar]: Pressure reading from sensor PT-3526. AIT-3432-pH [pH]: pH level measured by sensor AIT-3432. TT-3430-Temp [°C]: Temperature measured by sensor TT-3430. AIT-7538-Oxygen [mg/L]: Dissolved oxygen level from sensor AIT-7538. AIT-7538-Temp [°C]: Temperature at the oxygen sensor location (AIT-7538). Flow-P76 – Feed Flow Rate [L/h]: Flow rate of the feed stream to the system. Flow-P73A [L/h]: Flow rate from stream P73A. Flow-P73B [L/h]: Flow rate from stream P73B. Flow-P38 [L/h]: Flow rate from stream P38. Flow-FV3560 [L/h]: Flow rate through valve FV3560. AIT-101-Temp [°C]: Temperature reading from sensor AIT-101. AIT-101-pH [pH]: pH level from sensor AIT-101. AIT-110-Conductivity [µS]: Electrical conductivity measured by sensor AIT-110, in microsiemens. bactosense_data.csv: contains the readings from the bactosense device. The columns of the file are: time_index: Timestamp of the measurement in UTC format.
