The strain is registered in the Microorganisms Depositary of the IMV NASU as non-pathogenic microorganism (which is equal Ac-2186 number in the Ukrainian Collection of Microorganisms). It inhibits the growth of the phytopathogenic bacteria Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. glycines, Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. glycinea, Pseudomonas syringae pv. coronafaciens, and Alternaria alternata and Fusarium oxysporum fungi when grown on agar nutrient media. Previously, it was also described for the ability to promote plant growth by producing phytohormones (auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins, abscisic acid), vitamins, sterols, and more.
