Alexithymia and non-verbal behaviour

The data can be used to explore relationships between sex, verbal IQ, alexithymia, and how quickly and accurately young adults can use verbal context or nonverbal cues to determine whether or not a speaker intends his/her statements to be taken literally. Mean response times and accuracy for the identification of literal statements, sarcasm, jocular statements, and white lies are included.
