"Two-Channel Systems for Linearization of the Microwave Transmission Path"

"The problem of linearization of the microwave transmitting path using two-channel approaches is considered. The paper presents transmitter architectures that use two-channel systems with signal separation and addition, which allow for a reduction in the peak factor of the transmitted signal and the level of its out-of-band and in-band distortions. Based on computer simulation modeling, a comparative analysis of two algorithms was carried out: iterative dichotomous reduction of the peak factor and linear amplification using nonlinear components. The influence of non-identity of the characteristics of power amplifiers in channels on the efficiency of the algorithms under consideration in investigated. The main criterion in assessing the quality of the proposed two-channel systems was their energy efficiency."
