The Cache Timing Vulnerability Score (CTVS) dataset was developed by a research team at Yale University, with the goal of evaluating the vulnerability of processor caches to timing-based attacks. This dataset includes 1,094 automatically generated test programs, covering 88 theoretical cache timing attack vulnerabilities. Through these tests, a Cache Timing Vulnerability Score can be generated to quantify the vulnerability level of a specific cache implementation against diverse attacks. The primary application of this dataset is to assist designers of new secure processor caches in evaluating the vulnerability of their designs and developing corresponding defensive measures.
