In cancer cells, oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes alters various downstream pathways to sustain continuous proliferation. The ETS-related transcription factor Fli-1, originally discovered by us, plays a critical role in the induction and progression of leukemia through mechanisms that are not fully understood. In this report, we identified the UBASH3A and UBASH3B genes as two potential targets regulated by this transcription factor.To study the mechanism of UBASH3A and UBASH3B expression affecting leukemia progression, we did RNA seq for UBASH3A and UBASH3B depleted human leukemic cells.
