Test Experiment of the Emergency Seismic Network of SISMIKO INGV, Avezzano (AQ), Italy

SISMIKO is the INGV operational group dedicated to temporary seismic networks installation in epicentral area during strong earthquakes (M>5.0). To fully carry out its institutional tasks, SISMIKO organized a practical exercise in Central Italy, in  Avezzano municipality  (AQ) and surrounding areas. This involved the installation of 24 six-component seismic stations, transmitting data in real time to the data acquisition center for approximately one week. This archive collects data from all stations in the standard mseed format, with an SDS data structure (archive/year/network/station/component/mseed_file). The details of the seismic station instrumental responses are in the related stationXML file (standard FDSN format).
