TO VIEW AND DOWNLOAD THE ACTUAL DATA, CLICK ON ONE OF THE LAYERS BELOW Description The City of Cleveland's public cemetery information includes all digital burial records, cemetery boundaries, their individual sections, and every unique lot. Cleveland's Department of Public Works, Parks & Maintenance Division operates 12 City-owned cemeteries with over 500,000 burials across more than 400 acres of land. They include: Alger Brookmere Cleveland Memorial Gardens Denison Erie Street Harvard Grove Highland Park Monroe Potter's Field Scranton West Park Woodland The City does not own or operate Lakeview, Calvary, Riverside, or other private cemeteries in Cleveland. Use the Cleveland Cemetery Viewer for interacting with this dataset in a user-friendly web application. This item contains the underlying data that powers the app. Each cemetery is divided into sections, which contain individual lots or tiers. Lots are purchased by individuals or families who choose how to use gravesites. Tiers are rows where unrelated individuals can purchase single graves. Update Frequency Data is updated during the course of operations. Burials are available 48 hours after the burial date.
