资源简介:
Eu2Ir2O7 is a ceramic oxide showing fascinating Weyl semimetallic state. It is associated with an insulator to metal transition below 120 K with the simultaneous long range magnetic ordering. In our recent study on the material, we found enhanced metallicity and anomalous temperature variation of resistivity and heat capacity on 10% Sr dopoing at the Eu site. The topological Weyl state can be related to the magnetic structure of the material, and it is important to know the nature of the magnetic ordering in these materials. Here we propose a powder neutron diffraction experiment between 300-10 K on pure Eu2Ir2O7 and its 10% Sr doped counterpart on the WISH time of flight diffractometer. The work will not only help us to identify the magnetic structure of this interesting material, but will also help us to determine whether any ordered magnetic moment is residing at the Eu site or not.
