WorkSafe Victoria - Workplace fatalities

Death, which is notified to WorkSafe Victoria, and which occurs at a workplace or arises out of the conduct of an employer's/self-employed person's (prior to 2013/14) undertaking, within the jurisdiction of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1985. Death, which is notified to WorkSafe Victoria, of any person as a consequence of the operation of equipment prescribed under the Equipment (Public Safety) (General) Regulations 1995. Death, which is notified to WorkSafe Victoria, of any person as a consequence of an incident involving dangerous goods as defined under the Dangerous Goods Act 1985.
