Emergence of wind ripples controlled by mechanics of grain-bed impacts

This data consists of simulations of aeolian sediment transport with a discrete element model (DEM). The DEM simulated data was used to generate results/figures in the publication "Emergence of wind ripples controlled by mechanics of grain-bed impacts". Data includes .txt files of transport statistics. Included are files of processed data (as seen in the paper figures) as well as raw data that can be used to completely recreate the processed data and paper results. The raw data consists of large files of spatially and/or temporally explicit quantities. We have also included additional files of transport qualities that were not explicitly used in the paper but may be useful. Each file contains the relevant information needed to understand the data in said file as well as the parameters used for that particular DEM simulation. Please see README.txt file for more details.
