Dataset of pressure drop and liquid holdup of ceramic structured column packings

This dataset contains experimental measurements on the hydraulic performance (pressure drop and liquid holdup) of six distinct ceramic structured packings (K125X, K125Y, K250X, K250Y, K350Y, and K450X). The data were obtained from tests conducted in a pilot-scale column (422 mm inner diameter) operated with an air/water system. Pressure drop across the packed bed was measured at various superficial gas velocities ranging from 0.7 to 5.3 m/s. Additionally, irrigated pressure drop and the associated liquid holdup were recorded over a range of liquid loadings between 6 and 120 m/h.
