This data set contains all data used for analyzing the influences of temporal and spatial characteristics of urbanization on the species richness and functional traits of woody plants in urban remnant forest in Guiyang, China. It includes impervious surface data for Guiyang, the presence and abundance information of woody plants, and the details of leaf and seed functional traits of the recorded plants.
