资源简介:
The presented data are the typical parameters of logistics distribution network design mathematical models.
The data are organized in accordance with the list of model’s parameters (file: Logistics distribution network design problem - description - Redmer_A.pdf) attached to the data set (file: Logistics distribution network design problem - data set - Redmer_A.txt).
The data are a real life data gathered in a Polish company being a general merchandise (FMCG) retailer, running almost 200 medium-size shops covering 70% of the Polish territory.
The average shop has the trade area of 500 m2 and sales about 7 thousand different products (SKUs). The company employs more than 5 thousand workers, operates almost 70 their own medium and heavy duty trucks (all closed bodies, partially temperature-controlled ones), but uses also common carriers (for about 30% of all transports). The company runs the only one central warehouse (with climate/temperature-controlled storage sections), serving all company’s shops.
The operational characteristics of the company’s distribution network are as follow:
- more than 20 million kilometres covered during a year,
- average vehicle (delivery) route length equal to 280 kilometres,
- about 60% of the kilometres covered are loaded ones,
- about 73 thousand of routes done during a year (giving about 200 routes per day),
- average number of customers (shops) visited per one route equal to 2.7,
- the total number of tones transported during a year equal to 530 thousand (giving about 7.3 tons per one route),
- the total number of cargo units (pallets) transported during a year equal to 1.6 milion
(giving about 22 pallets per one route),
- the average weight of the cargo unit (one pallet) equal to 330 kilograms.
