Foreign trade between the EU and Mercosur 2020, by sector

The most important sector in foreign trade between the European Union and Mercosur (a commercial bloc formed by Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) in 2020 was machinery and transport equipment. This area's exports from the European Union to Mercosur amounted to almost 14 billion euros in that year. When it comes to imports, the products that EU countries imported the most from the four full members of Mercosur were food and live animals, totaling 12.2 billion euros.
