Route115Avalanches: avalanche exposure dataset for International Route 115-CH (Pehuenche Pass, Chile)

Input data, corridor-scale simulation results and road records of the avalanche exposure assessment of 60.64 km of International Route 115-CH, from La Mina to near Pehuenche Pass (Maule Region, Chile, ~36 S), simulated with AvaFrame com1DFA. Version 1.1 accompanies the revised manuscript of: Latorre, I., Schaefer, M., and Oesterle, F., 'How exposed is a mountain road to snow avalanches? A corridor-scale assessment in the southern Andes', Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences Discussions (https://doi.org/10.5194/egusphere-2026-3951). It contains the 208 release areas (corrected depth of A11-1 in the Severe scenario and vertex order of A24a), the corrected road centerline and road points, the scenario fractions and partial-release polygons, the crossing points, assigned friction, critical friction with the erodible layer and without it, peak pressure and arrival times of each case of the reference simulations (standard samosAT sets in steps of 0.01 with a 0.30 m erodible layer; scenario fractions and complete polygons), the friction sweeps, the 356 candidate release units of the automatic delineation with their results, the 35 records of the road authority and the nivology reports, the results of the tests with recorded avalanches and the tables of the data supplement of the paper. Third-party documents are not included in this version; the map sheets and studies of the Direccion de Vialidad and the official closure records of the route remain in version 1.0.2.
