A comparison of salivary microbiome between Western and Chinese people

This study investigated the impact of host ethnicity on their microbial profile in saliva. The comparison were made between 13 Chinese participants and 13 Western participants. The Western participants were defined as people who have lived in Australia for more than ten years. Chinese samples were collected from people who were born in China and had lived in Australia for no more than 18 months.
