Diagnostic, Prognostic and Predictive Biomarkers for Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Whole exome sequencing will enable a detailed examination of the molecular architecture of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) at the exon level, potentially identifying novel molecular alterations that could be targeted for future disease management. The exome sequencing data will be analyzed using established software packages and algorithms, facilitating the discovery and validation of diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers for OSCC at both genomic and proteomic levels in cancer tissues. The overarching aim is to stratify patients with OSCC based on molecular changes, thereby optimizing treatment approaches tailored to individual patient profiles.
