Whole Genome Bisulfite Sequencing reveals DNA methylation roles in the adaptive response of wildness training giant pandas to wild environment

DNA methylation modification can regulate gene expression without changing the genome sequence, which helps organisms adapt to new environments quickly. Non-model mammals have been relatively poorly studied for this purpose. However, very few related studies have been reported in non-model mammals. We comparatively analysed genome-level methylation differences between wildness training and captive giant panda to find whether the methylation modification plays a role in the adaptive response of wildness training panda.
