Chile: convictions for abortion 2015-2019

From 2015 to 2019, a total of 18 abortion cases brought in Chile resulted in a guilty verdict. In 2019, there was only one conviction, down from ten a year earlier. Abortion is only legal in Chile in three cases: if the pregnancy endangers the pregnant woman's life, nonviability of the fetus, and in case of rape (if it's performed during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, or 14 weeks if the woman is younger than 14).

自2015年至2019年，智利共发生18起堕胎案件，其中18起案件以有罪判决告终。2019年，仅有1起案件被定罪，较之前一年的10起案件有所减少。在智利，堕胎仅在以下三种情况下合法：若怀孕危及孕妇生命、胎儿非存活状态，以及强奸案（若在怀孕前12周内或女性小于14岁时进行）。
