U.S. emoji usage when flirting or dating 2022, by generation

According to a survey conducted in the United States in April 2022, 71 percent of Generation Z respondents reported they were more likely to use emojis when flirting or dating compared to other communications. Overall, 69 percent of millennials reported the same. Additionally, just 40 percent of baby boomers said they were more likely to use emojis when flirting than other types of communication.
