Framing in rumors

The dataset comprises coding results for 551 COVID-19 rumors collected from Weibo Piyao. Each rumor has been analyzed and coded for the presence or absence of six themes, six generic frames, and ten issue-specific frames. The coding process involved assigning a value of 1 when a theme or frame was present in a rumor and 0 when it was absent.
