Site Data from Archaeological Trial Trenching at the High Street, Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, December 2023

This collection comprises images, documents, and CAD data from archaeological trial trenching on land at Greenside, 134 High Street, Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire. Albion Archaeology undertook works on the 5th of December 2023, for the construction of a new dwelling and vehicular access on garden land to the side of the existing property. The results suggest that the archaeological potential of the site is low, with no significant archaeological features present and no residual artefacts to indicate medieval or earlier activity. 2 pits and 1 post-medieval tile fragment was found.
