Dataset of Natural Language Queries for E-Commerce

This dataset is named "E-Commerce Natural Language Query Dataset", jointly created by the Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences in Cologne, Germany and the University of Duisburg-Essen. It contains 3540 natural language queries, mainly covering two product categories: laptops and jackets. The dataset was collected via controlled experiments, where participants were required to describe their product needs. In addition to recording the query texts, the dataset also annotates vague terms and key product facts. This dataset is designed to support research in the fields of natural language processing and interactive information retrieval, particularly in the domain of product search, to enhance the understanding and response capabilities of search systems.
