Dataset for: Citizen science monitoring of native potato varieties in Peru using the VarScout application - 2024

This dataset contains information collected in 2024 through the VarScout mobile application as part of the National Native Potato Monitoring Contest in Peru. Using a citizen science approach, farmers, native potato guardians, youth, and local technicians recorded observations of native potato varieties across multiple regions of the country. The dataset documents the diversity, distribution, and conservation status of native potato varieties.
