Effect of type 2 diabetes on mouse incisors

The patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) have the increased risk of tooth decay caused by the alteration of their tooth development and oral environment, as well as the tendency to present with pulp infection due to the compromised immune response. In the present study, we analyzed the characteristic alteration of tooth development in DM condition using incisors from type 2 diabetic mouse model (T2DM mice).
