CeRDI (Centre for eResearch and Digital Innovation) Observation System Database Documentation Version 1.0.

The primary purpose of the observation system is to collect and store observation and measurement data and publish this data for researchers, industry, government and the public. It uses the ISO19156 and Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Observations and Measurements (O&M) conceptual model to store field and laboratory environmental data in a domain-independent structure. It is operational through several soil and land projects and initiatives of the Centre for eResearch and Digital Innovation, Federation University, and their land use and management research, government and farming system partners.本观测系统的核心目标为采集并存储观测与实测数据，同时面向科研人员、产业界、政府机构及社会公众公开此类数据。其采用ISO19156标准与开放地理空间联盟（Open Geospatial Consortium, OGC）观测与测量（Observations and Measurements, O&M）概念模型，以领域无关的结构化方式存储野外与实验室环境数据。该系统已在联邦大学（Federation University）电子研究与数字创新中心（Centre for eResearch and Digital Innovation）的多项土壤与土地相关项目及倡议中投入运行，相关项目及倡议服务于该中心与大学的土地利用与管理研究，以及其与政府、农业系统合作伙伴的协同工作。
