In 2023, the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) had the highest net income among the largest banks in Canada. RBC's net income exceeded 14.8 billion Canadian dollars. Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD Bank) followed, with a net income of roughly 10.8 billion Canadian dollars. RBC did not only report the highest net income, but also the largest volume of assets, exceeding two trillion Canadian dollars.
