Experimental dataset of elastic properties, porosity, permeability, and mineralogy of Berea sandstone during brine and CO₂ injection
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains laboratory rock physics measurements collected from Berea sandstone during controlled fluid substitution experiments designed to investigate geophysical responses to CO₂ injection. Measurements include P-wave and S-wave velocities, bulk density, porosity, permeability, and derived elastic moduli obtained under varying confining pressures. The experiments were conducted across multiple fluid conditions, including dry, brine-saturated, liquid CO₂, and supercritical CO₂ states, as well as post-cleaning dry stages. The dataset captures changes in elastic and transport properties associated with fluid substitution and fluid–rock interactions under reservoir-relevant conditions. These measurements support research on reservoir characterization, rock physics modeling, and seismic monitoring of geological carbon storage.
