Microbiome analysis in mothers with systemic lupus erythematosus and their newborns

This study aims to investigate the vaginal and fecal microbiomes of SLE mothers, as well as the fecal microbiomes of newborns born to such mothers, this study aimed in order to identify what differences are seen in the vaginal and fecal microbiomes of the mothers and their effects on ; how such differences affect the fecal microbiomes of newborns; which one of the vaginal or fecal microbiomes of mothers is more closely related to the fecal microbiomes of newborns.
