The long-term impact of church activity on social capital: lessons from post-war Czechoslovakia

This is a basic set of variables used in the paper "The long-term impact of church activity on social capital: lessons from post-war Czechoslovakia", co-authored by Štěpán Mikula (Masaryk Unversity, IZA), Fabio Sabatini (Sapienza University of Rome, IZA), and Tommaso Reggiani (Cardiff University, Masaryk Unversity, IZA). The first draft of the paper is available as a MUNI ECON working paper (DOI 10.5817/WP_MUNI_ECON_2023-03), which also includes a detailed data description.

The current dataset is restricted to variables that are available from open sources. We are not allowed to share the complete set of variables publically.
