A price survey of 100g pork across all supermarkets in the country revealed that the average price in October 2024 was 288 yen. Over the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a span of 118 months), the month with the highest pork price among all supermarkets in the country was October 2024 at 288 yen, while the month with the lowest pork price was February 2015 at 224 yen. The price difference between the peak (October 2024) and the lowest price period (February 2015) of pork across the national area was 64.3951 yen.
