Aluminoborophosphate glasses and glass-ceramics doped with magnesium oxide: Structural, thermal, in vitro dissolution, and cytotoxicity studies - raw data

This dataset concerns aluminoborophosphate glass and glass-ceramic samples containing varying amounts of MgO. Two series of samples were prepared by the melt-quenching method, using water quenching (G) and quenching on a metal plate (GC), resulting in amorphous and partially crystalline materials. The dataset includes structural (SEM-EDX and FTIR) and thermal characterization data obtained for all samples. In vitro dissolution experiments were performed in phosphate-buffered saline. Surface and phase characterization after dissolution was carried out using appropriate analytical techniques. Additionally, cytotoxicity data obtained from in vitro tests using HUVEC cells are included, covering different sample compositions and concentrations.
