Earth depth observations

The data set is a compilation of soil depth data as point data from various databases at SGU. These databases are those containing stratigraphic observations or otherwise containing information on earth depth or rock observations. Soil depth refers to the power of the soil layers down to solid rock. Earth depth observations contain information about soil depths that are stored in SGU's various databases. The information can be divided into three categories: 1) observations where soil power down to mountains has been observed, 2) observations where mountains have not been found and 3) observations where the mountain is exposed (the soil depth is 0 meters).
