16s rRNA amplicons of gut microbiota in Xinjiang, PR. China population

Xinjiang is a multiple ethnic region with a special geographical location. Geography, ethnicity and anti-obesity medication were believed to impact the contribution of gut microbiota and its metabolites to obesity. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the gut microbiota and SCFAs characteristics of obese subjects in Xinjiang and to explore the potential microbes responded to anti-obesity medicines, further implying the crosstalk of gut microbiota and host metabolism.
