For Trichophyton mentagrophytes TM strain and Trichophyton rubrum S136 strain, conidia were shake-cultured in liquid medium for 5 days to obtain mature mycelium. Sodium houttuyfonate was then added to reach a 70% subinhibitory concentration, followed by co-culturing under shaking for 1 hour or 6 hours. Transcriptome sequencing was subsequently performed.
