Microbe interactions operating in the rhizosphere

The study aimed at identifying the active microbial community involved in phosphate scavenging within the rhizosphere community of Brassica napus L (Oil Seed rape). Field-grown experiments were performed in presence or absence of fertiliser treatment and metagenomic data were used to analyse the related meta-exoproteomic datasets. Comparison between treatments (w/o fertiliser) and compartments (bulk/rhizosphere soil) were performed.
