Survey on approval of U.S. military action against ISIS in Iraq and Syria 2014

This statistic shows the results of a survey among American adults on their approval of U.S. military action against the extremist group ISIS ("Islamic State of Iraq and Syria", also IS - "Islamic State") in Iraq and Syria. ISIS follows jihadist and anti-Western principles, and claims to be responsible for the killing of several Western hostages. During this survey, which was conducted in September 2014, 60 percent of respondents stated they approve of U.S. military action against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
