Butterfly structural complexity and community data 2022-2023

These data are a combination of butterfly counts in their raw form by species also, summarised as abundances, richness and Simpson diversity index values. It also includes some site-specific data on where the surveys took place, including patch size and canopy structural complexity.Data were collected following the method outlined by Neal, Araya, and Wheeler (2024) over an 8-week period in 2022, as presented in that paper, and during an additional 16-week period in 2023, which included repeat surveys at the original 10 sites and data collection at 12 additional sites.<b>Reference</b>Neal, W., Araya, Y. and Wheeler, P.M.
