Whole exon sequencing in Diversity Outbred Mice

This study presented Diversity Outbred (DO) mice as a tool to identify genetic factors that influence Aconitine induced toxicity. 63 male DO mice orally received aconine at 0.3 mg/kg /day for 7 successive days. We found significant individual differences in aconitine induced toxicity among DO mice. Through evaluation of mice toxic reactions, 5 mice with poisoning were selected as toxic susceptible mice, and 5 mice with mild poisoning were selected as toxic resistance mice. Liver tissues of DO mice were sequenced and SNP/Indel of different mice were analyzed by bioinformatics.
