This data set provides the supporting data for our manuscript entitled "Implication from Mineralogical and Geochemical Characteristics of Authigenic Micronodules in the Haima Cold Seeps for Understanding the Manganese Geochemistry in Active Seepage". The chemical composition of bulk sediments (Table S1), and the elemental concentrations of Mn-micronodules analyzed by EPMA (Tabel S2) and LA-ICP-MS (Table S3), and the correlation coefficients for major and trace elements of Mn-micronodules (Table S4, based on the LA-ICP-MS sopts analysis data listed in Table S3 ) are included here. The back-scattered electron (BSE) image for typical micronodules and the LA-ICP-MS mapping results are shown in Figure S1 and S3, respectively. Combined with the cluster analysis, the correlation coefficient matrix and cluster chart are plotted in Figure S2. All these bulk sediments and Mn-micronodules studied are recovered from the Haima cold seeps of the South China Sea.
