Investigating the factors that regulate dengue virus infection in Aedes aegypti female mosquitoes with Aedes aegypti transcriptomic analysis

Understanding the molecular determinants of the mosquitoes’ competence to host the viruses holds promise to prevent their transmission. We performed transcriptomic analysis with data obtained from RNA-seq of dengue- or naïve- infected mosquitoes on day 1, 2, and 7 post infections Based on the gene expression profile of RNA-seq analysis, we compared different days of the gene expression ratio between dengue and naïve infection. The different groups of transcripts were clustered and were analyzed with KEGG pathway analysis.
