Lacticaseibacillus paracasei genome sequencing

This study aims to obtain a high-quality complete genome assembly of Lacticaseibacillus paracasei D-9, a bacterium associated with soymilk fermentation. The genome will be used for comparative genomics to elucidate its soymilk metabolism and the mechanisms underlying the formation of characteristic flavor compounds. The assembly was generated using a hybrid sequencing approach combining Illumina and ONT data to achieve high contiguity and accuracy.
