资源简介:
Prolonged space travel has the potential to affect astronaut health in numerous ways. To understand the impact, simulated conditions are used to generate omics data from animal models or tissue culture experiments. One space travel factor is microgravity that can have a major impact on basic biological processes that are critical for cell division, DNA repair, and other mechanisms involved in disease. The impact of microgravity is likely to affect gene expression pathways in actively developing zebrafish embryos. In this study, we explore a dataset from a simulated microgravity experiment to correlate the effect of space flight conditions on the transcriptome of zebrafish embryos and human astronauts.
